Stories from the road and the soul.

A solo female travel storyteller and creative producer devoted to living in harmony with purpose, passion, and exploration across the globe. My heart’s calling is to inspire women and men of the Indigenous diaspora to courageously embrace the world beyond familiar shores — even if that journey begins alone. Through soulful reflections, intimate musings, and sacred moments gathered across land and sea, I invite you to travel not only outward, but inward, discovering freedom, healing, and connection along the way.

Before traveling abroad, I spent a transformative summer and part of the fall living in the quiet wilderness of Lake George at Bison Peak Lodge. The lodge served as a peaceful retreat and camping destination for guests, veterans, and first responders seeking rest, healing, and connection with nature. Through a work exchange program, I traded comfort and routine for mountain air, meaningful labor, and a simpler way of living surrounded by forests, open skies, and stillness. That season in Colorado taught me resilience, grounding, and the beauty of slowing down before stepping into my next journey abroad.

Eight transformative months living abroad in Japan, including six months working as an English teacher. An experience that once existed only as a distant dream. What began as a simple idea became my reality through intentional research, faith, determination, and the courage to take a chance on myself. Even without a Bachelor’s degree, I was able to secure a teaching opportunity with my Associate’s degree, a solid plan, and a strong willingness to learn and grow. My journey abroad taught me that purpose often opens doors that fear tries to keep closed. This summer, I’ll be sharing more videos and blogs reflecting on my experiences, lessons, and adventures in Japan, so stay tuned for what’s to come.

Spent an unforgettable week in Seoul while navigating the process of receiving my work visa for Japan. Since I had to temporarily leave the country while waiting for my paperwork to be finalized, I used the opportunity to explore Seoul on a tourist visa and embrace the unexpected adventure. What initially felt like a brief transition quickly turned into an exciting experience filled with culture, food, nightlife, and spontaneous memories. Despite the circumstances, I had an amazing time and documented my journey along the way, capturing moments I’ll never forget.

A few years ago, I welcomed a new decade of life by celebrating my 30th birthday in Paris — the perfect destination for someone born on the global holiday of Valentine's Day. Surrounded by timeless beauty, romance, and the charm of the city’s streets and cafés, it felt like the perfect way to begin a new chapter of my journey. From iconic views to quiet moments of reflection, Paris gave me memories filled with joy, gratitude, and inspiration. It was more than a birthday trip — it was a celebration of growth, love, and stepping boldly into a new era of life.

I had always dreamed of seeing the iconic Big Ben in London, a landmark that had long lived in my imagination. Last year, that dream unexpectedly became reality when an unforeseen travel mishap and layover turned into an unplanned 72-hour stay in the city. What could have been a stressful situation transformed into an adventure filled with exploration, connection, and spontaneity. I ended up meeting new people, discovering the rhythm of London, and experiencing the city in a way I never could have planned.

After leaving a year and a half in the corporate world, I made the decision to follow one of my lifelong dreams of exploring different parts of Africa, beginning with Egypt and the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza. My mother always held a deep admiration for Egyptian culture, and I grew up sharing that same fascination and curiosity. During my time there, I spent two months participating in a work exchange apprenticeship, where I learned digital marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) while immersing myself in a completely new environment. Along the way, I built meaningful connections, found a new Egyptian family, and created lifelong memories and experiences that I will always cherish.

Later, exploring several cities across Egypt, I eventually migrated toward Tanzania in Africa for the next chapter of my journey. I first began in the rural areas near Mount Kilimanjaro, participating in a work exchange program where I supported a daycare and school for children ages 2 through 6. From there, I continued on to Arusha, where I joined another work exchange program offering English conversation practice and video production services. Along the way, I had the incredible opportunity to experience African safaris. Something that had been on my bucket list for over a decade. Immersing myself fully in the culture allowed me to build lifelong friendships, extended family connections, and even future business partnerships. I am currently in the process of fundraising materials and support to help build a school for the children I worked with during my time there.
