Who is Desí Destinationz?

I am a Black American female international solo traveler, educator, and humanitarian with over a decade of global experience. Since the age of 23, I have traveled solo to more than 10 countries across 3 continents, lived and worked in multiple cities across North America, and taught abroad while participating in numerous work-exchange programs.

My journey has been defined by resilience as much as exploration. Traveling alone for nearly a decade, I’ve navigated and survived experiences that tested my courage, adaptability, and self-trust—lessons that now shape the work I do and the guidance I offer others.

Now at 32, my mission is to empower people—especially those who have never seen themselves reflected in travel spaces—to explore the world confidently and intentionally. Through solo budget travel education, mindset work, and manifestation practices, I help others turn dream destinations into lived experiences. For me, travel is more than movement—it is a tool for liberation, healing, education, and global connection.
